  • 3 cups apple*, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups frozen cranberries, defrosted
  • 3 tablespoons spelt flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup maple syrup

*A local tart apple is best

Topping:

  • ½ cup spelt flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil (e.g. canola oil)
